Coffee time, good reviews, I'll try here. Warning - don't. Go somewhere else for coffee. Counter staff was more intent on finishing the sweeping behind the counter than serving. Service (apart from that) was reasonably pleasant and quick (once the broom was put down). However, coffee wasn't even reasonably pleasant. Insipid could be the word. Today, my friend and I had a great lunch at Empire. The food was delicious and our young waitress was lovely, sweet, and very efficient. She was a credit to the restaurant.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly, and the food and coffee are exceptional. The menu is unique and offers more than just the usual options found in most cafes. I highly recommend this place.
The coffee was amazing and the juice was also WOW! The Beef Brisket Benedict was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and despite how busy it was, our food came out quickly. I definitely give this place stars and will be returning when I head south. Thank you!

Service slow. Coffees cold, bitter. Expensive! Seems to be huge turn over of staff. Weird menu items. Thought we would try it as we always go to local cafes but this isn't one we'd come back to. Was very dissatisfied so were other patrons...waiting on coffee orders.
