Onyx On Sharpe - Karratha

In ordering our meal, the waitress was very confusing. she said, only small amount of veg on top so best to order next to court. we weren't told any cauliflower, but the cauliflower came on the side plate. I had chicken cheew, but it was really just. a fat chicken breast with a small garlic sauce underneath. served with dried potatoes and some broccolini. my man had a steak with chips and broccolini, that was a $45 special. the side and side vegies were $8 each and my hen was about $35. no cheap meal, but most places in karratha seemed the same type of price design. the place itself was ok, clean and friendly staff. good to foot from our hotel.

Ordered a 200g augenfilet medium rare and this was over. about expensive disgusting dry steak ever. the chef is a sweat

We have booked a table for five people at 17 o'clock. we were the first to arrive. we were greeted by a beautiful lady who immediately order our drinks. food order quickly taken. we hardly had to wait for our meals. oysters were beautiful as a. shared entrée. I had the lobster mornay, which was delicious and pretty full. all the others had steak and really enjoyed their meal. although it was stinking outside, it was pleasantly cool inside. the standout of the meal was how incredibly friendly and attentive the staff was. I suppose this is a Pilbara thing, but it was really refreshing. will definitely be back to visit.

We had a booking for approx. 7 people. we decided to sit outside because the bar menu is suitable for many of the nutritional requirements of the group. we went up and ordered a few minutes after the way there at 7:10-7:15. our food came from 7:40-8:30ish.... a polite member of the group said that she had not received her chips and chicken bites, it was 8:55 o'clock. I asked a man I found out later, the manager was only asking where the food is, as we ordered at 7:10-7:15. He said to me that we were really busy, and I said we shouldn't have said that it was going late, and he said no! and repeated how busy they were. he could not stick to the massive delay. a normal manager would ask what part of the order is missing? he hasn't. Finally, at 9:10 he came out two hours after the order and said what did you order? at 9:30 a.m. the chips and chicken came. if it were my order, I would have liked a refund! this is my second experience eating onyx and it is the second time that eating has been delayed and it is the second time that the manager cannot own and fix the situation. for high-quality meals they earn a decent service.

Not worth the overly expensive bill. potato and broccoli, one level above cold. steak came out as medium rather than medium rare, for a $60 steak I'd expect it to be right. even the beers are pricey
