The lobster was good the seafood chowder was good restaurant extremely busy and loud. But it was a satisfying meal. Service was great no complaints other than the weather outside. View all feedback.
What Jeff L doesn't like about Sou’wester Gift Company:
We just wanted a steamed lobster while in Halifax. Our family of five took a bus tour to Peggy's cove. We had an hour to eat. We were seated promptly. We were waited on relatively soon after sitting. We had to inquire about our food twice. It took forty five minutes to come, and they only had four orders. They lost one of our family member's order. The food was cold and a disappointment all around as we rushed to eat... View all feedback.
Great location. Super great to warmup here when cold out. Lots of dine-in seating. Staff were super friendly and have high chairs and booster seats. Free bread to start helped keep the hunger away. Very tasty. Kids loved the grilled cheese. We all loved the nachos. Big prices of lobster init. Lobster cheese dip was also good. Chips are layered with a layer of salsa in-between. 9/10. Beer cheese soup had great flavor and croutons gave it a nice texture. Gingerbread cake was 10/10. Soo soft, fresh and not too spicy in the ginger sense. Overall a really great choice when visiting Peggy 's Cove
Really nice staff and great scenery. The water and lighthouse view is spectacular. The have fresh baked pastries when they open and the are still warm and delicious. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was cold and a disappointment all around as we rushed to eat the food we did receive . There was little remorse or apology from the wait staff. We felt like true sucker tourists for eating at The Sou'Wester. I would never eat there again . I wish tour company should have warmed if the poor service and scant management oversight we would receive. I will also enter a complaint with the tour company
