The Central - Peekskill

We were visiting a friend nearby last night and pulled this place up for breakfast. It looked interesting but out of our way. I’m so very happy we stopped in. The coffee was amazing the food was excellent and service was great. The place is clean and well manicured. A great find a definite place to visit . GPS takes you to a block away. Go to the train station.

Pleasant surprise. Beautiful use of space. Food is not an afterthought, but genuinely tasty. Support this establishment as it makes life better for all commuters, and Peekskill residents

Ok so hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and at an affordable price. Whoever made that deserves an award. The avocado and lox hit the spot, he puréed the avocado and put time and care into it. Me and my wife had an excellent brunch, we may come back even when we don’t have to drop anyone off.

Love this place but I have to take away a star because they got rid of the Kale Caesar. They switched it to spring mix and it is just not the same. Also, tomatoes don’t go with a caeser salad and it seems like they changed the dressing as well. Sad because I truly loved that salad and would look forward to having it. Was so disappointed last time I went in when I heard they got rid of it: .

I went to the nearly-empty Bistro hoping to sit and have a meal and was told to go to the Cafe side where they told me to go to the Bistro. Horrible customer service. As I could not order a meal, I left and went elsewhere.
