It was 9:15 on a Wednesday night when I finally... read more Sue and Suzanne are absolutely brilliant. I just walked the Appalachian Trail and stayed the night in Peekskill. It was 9:15 on a Wednesday night when I finally made it for dinner. Everywhere it was close when I walked from this bar and got to talk to Sue the owner who was out there at that time. She could see that I really wanted a good meal when I came out of the forest when I saw totally starved Lol. She led me into where I was sitting at the basically closed bar and waiting for a beer on my chicken sluice. Barely 10mins later she walks in with a poor wealth of food and threw it in a bag for me. We are talking a few minutes about the trail and hiker who met her in the years. After a great pick and farewell I went back to my room at the hotel and gorged on a massive dinner that was absolutely perfect!! I HIGHLY recommend Sue's Sunset house for dinner and some drinks if you prefer from the hiker crowd and a convenient place to enjoy an evening! Add to cart
