Ruben's is the top Mexican restaurant in the Peekskill Cortlandt Manor area. The food is outstanding, and the portion sizes are generous. The drinks are top-notch, and the service is excellent. They even sing happy birthday to you when you celebrate there! My personal favorite is the Al Pastor Burrito, but honestly, everything on the menu is fantastic.
We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. My wife couldn't stop asking about the ingredients in their delicious black bean soup, as everyone raved about it. It was a pleasant surprise since we stumbled upon it while just walking around.
Really nice spot. Stopped by one Friday afternoon around 3:30 for a quick bite. Service was prompt and the staff were lovely. They opened up the front shutters to let the light in and some fresh air. It was a nice afternoon in March, the weather was cooland the sun was out. The margarita was yummy and strong. The portions were huge. I would definitely return, perhaps for dinner.
Wonderful place. Chilean Sea Bass is so good. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant, and I've visited about five times! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the margaritas are fantastic! You can tell a Mexican restaurant is good when you see Mexican patrons dining there!
