Nonna's Pizza - Peekskill
Nonna's Pizza
Description
Nonna's has emerged as a mixed bag for diners, with some noting the charm of its diverse menu and courteous staff. While a few dishes, like the Chicken Francese and pizza, received praise for freshness and taste, others fell short, with complaints about soggy fries and unremarkable baked ziti. Service quality was inconsistent, with experiences ranging from rude interactions to helpful staff. The restaurant's pricing sparked debate, but many appreciated its reasonable options. Despite some setbacks, loyal patrons continue to enjoy takeout, hinting at a restaurant with potential amidst areas needing improvement. Overall, it’s a place worth a visit, albeit with tempered expectations.

Delicious food , great service . Went during the holiday season. Everything was excellent ?
French fries and chicken pliers were all soggy. stuffed shells had funky taste! in the rule they get their pizza, which was once great. service was very polite!
With the Pandemic lingering over our lives food always helps to comfort us no matter what the occasion is. I ordered the food the day before and the staff at Nonna’s were very helpful and accommodating despite the short notice and before New Year’s Eve. I picked up the food the next day and it was ready at the time they said it would be ready. The Chicken Frances’s was very good-lots of lemon and garlic yummy- as well as the Chicken Parmesan and Broccoli Rabe with sausage. I will recommend that you order or go eat at the restaurant-the food is great.
As an O.T.R driver, I stopped at this restaurant two nights in a row for the first time. I ordered a large cheese pizza, a spinach roll with marinara sauce, and a tiramisu dessert. The bill came out to $29, and I added a 15% tip, making it a little more expensive. I was disappointed that they wanted to charge extra for Parmesan cheese, which I thought was unnecessary. However, the food was decent overall.
