So I went to support the Jamaican community and I ordered tons of food so I could be able to taste different stuff. So I just ordered some thing for breakfast. This is my second time at the restaurant. The first time there was a slight hiccup with the patties but either the owner or the manager tried her best to remedy the situation properly and did not charge me. Today I ordered fried dumpling and the codfish fritters with some oatmeal. The dumplin was good of course not as good as my mothers. I wanted soooo much to do nothing but a rave review?Alas cannot do so. I?m not into spicy so my always ?go to ? is oxtails for the test. When that is too spicy for me I gauge the spicy of you Cook. I was sadly disappointed. If you make oxtail too spicy, I can?t imagine what the traditionally spicy dishes will do to my palate. I?m a big supporter of Black business. Hopefully I will find that the cooking improves as new Chefs come into play.
So introduced my co-workers to this restaurant. 1. they don't answer phone 2. the portion of this sooooo ridiculous i use to work at a golden krust and buy from other golden krust and i have never seen a large food looking like a lunch special. Look at what they call a large food for almost $20 each.. ridiculous!!! come on this is not a good way to start. i have one co-worker that spend over 400. no jerk sauce or utensil for the 15 food purchase thru grub hub. I?ve tried Jamaican food but this food is on another level of delicious. The amount of food and the flavors are worth the price. Will definitely be coming back to try the curry goat. Very friendly staff. I recommend the oxtail and the beef patties. Yum
