Ate here once and I’m done. The rice was hard, dry and not hot. They didn’t have anything that was written on their board. . The meat was gross. The best part of my lunch was the drinks. This is not what real Jamaican food taste like. Not representing my country food. This is coming from a true yardy.

So so place. The place needs some tlc. The oxtail was ok not bad not good. The rice and peas were dry. Hubby and I got turned off. I’m not sure if I’m going to try again. I really love Caribbean food. Specially Jamaican, but that oxtail with rice and peas were not up to the part.

This was exactly the kind of place my wife and I were looking for. Even though it wasn't busy you could tell that the oxtail was going to be good. My only regret was that we didn't have more time to destroy the larger portion. Pineapple soda complimented it perfectly and I was happy they had some Scotch bonnet pepper sauce on hand to tie it all together.

The food is delicious! The oxtail especially, which is my favorite. You can order other foods outside of rice with any meat, like dumplings, yams, bananas once they have it. You may pay a little extra but it is usually worth it. Just ask... Good, pleasant and courteous customer service from the staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs a hot, flavourful belly full meal .

Stopped here for lunch and was surprised to see it was open. I had the brown stew chicken and it was pretty good. The only problem I have with this restaurant is there's no set time that it opens. They claim they open at 11 am but, I have been there at 12 or 1 pm and it was closed. A consistent schedule would be nice. Parking is not ideal however, there is a paid garage down the street.
