Amici’s Pizza - Peekskill
Amici’s Pizza
Description
Nestled in the neighborhood, this revived pizzeria blends traditional Peekskill-style thin-crust pies with a full Italian menu. Under new ownership the kitchen has sharpened—pepperoni slices, chicken parm and specialty thin crusts draw regulars, while garlic knots and tiramisu add charm. Dine-in feels warm and romantic, with dependable takeout and delivery, though occasional inconsistencies—display-case freshness and an undercooked side or two on delivery—have been noted. Reasonably priced and approachable, it’s a local favorite for pizza lovers and casual dining.

This restaurant has recently come under new ownership, and we've been regular customers of Amicis for the past 12 years. It was always quite good, but the new owners have truly elevated the experience—the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Amicis. Their pizza is among the best in the area, and the prices are very reasonable as well.
I recently started a new construction project right next door to this restaurant. I ordered their chicken parmesan and pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious! I've visited several times already, and I don't plan on going anywhere else for now. I might end up gaining a few pounds, but honestly, who cares? The food is fantastic! Best, Atrin H.
Been coming here regularly for a while. They have great thin crust pizza if you like that. Big buff chicken and BBQ guy and 99% of the time they are 10 out of 10. But I have to be honest, last 2 times I've been in there the pizza in the window has looked old. If it looks that way next time this will go down to 3 and I won't be back. If it's back to normal I'll happily bump this up to a 5 star rating the pizza is worth it.
It's a dope spot. And the food on top of Kelz, and Andi is a experience that everyone should have!!!. Just a little add on. The sweets are from Arthur Ash in the Bronx, and the garlic knots are ba banging. They have a dining room and a atmosphere of romance . Come check it out. Plus they do special pizza, like American cheese, pepperoni, and chop
So I ordered delivery from here and was so-so. I ordered spaghetti meatballs, chicken francese and a side of broccoli rabe. The spaghetti meatball was pretty decent the sauce needs a little salt but overall a solid 7 on the classic dish. But the chicken francese was terrible. The chicken wasn't soft and it wasn't lemony zest just all butter or margarine. The broccoli rabe was the worst, it wasn't cooked enough to where the garlic tasted raw. I later recooked the rabe and it tasted good but this shouldn't be the case when you pay $10 for a side. I hate giving 3 stars so I would eat here again to confirm the score. 60/100
