The Green King pub chain offers a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans, which is a great feature. However, the menu mainly consists of vegetarian options with only a couple of main dishes for vegans and a small selection of desserts. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, typical pub fare that satisfied our cravings. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was noted that they will be introducing a new menu with more vegan choices starting on April 20th, 2023. This update was made from a previous review on April 19th, 2023.

The restaurant offers a variety of good options, including the best vegan pub food I've ever tasted. The menu has clearly been upgraded since past reviews. The cauliflower wing starter can be made vegan by requesting no mayo. This review was updated on 2022-07-16.

I recently dined at this restaurant and absolutely loved the chickpea and sweet potato curry. The apple pie with vegan ice cream was also fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try the falafel burger on my next visit.

A good separate vegan menu is now available with reasonable prices. I tried the veg tart which was nice but needed a veg gravy to be great. Vegan fish and chips also available which was also nice

Enjoyed visiting this hotel restaurant as it had a vegan menu with a choice of starters, mains and deserts. I had the beetroot, butternut and sweet potato tart that was really good.
