Lovely but simple cheap meal in a village not far from Valencia. Limited choice but the kids called it the best restaurant of the entire trip. Very friendly staff.

I live locally but this was my first visit. Went with family and booked a table on the terrace. Food was beautifully presented and excellent, a place to go if you want something a little more special. Service was excellent. In the quiet, rustic village of Pedralba this is an excellent place to visit a must do. Well done La Pitanza! We will return.

Our first night was an interesting attempt at translating the menu with the hostess trying very hard. Local wine was great. On our second night we waited a long time before being waited upon . We were ultimately pleasantly surprised to be provided with a menu in English. What a delight in being able to choose a meal knowing the full ingredients. We shared three incredible local regional dishes We are pleased to give the restaurant a 100% mark for quality and service. Well done. Travelers should not be disappointed in visiting la pitanza.

Located in Pedralba, a small village near Cheste and Lliria, outside of Valencia. This restaurant seems to be out of place due to the quality of the food and the way it is presented. You certainly do not expect to find something like this in a small town of Valencia 's inland. There are two areas, the main restaurant and the tapas bar... the main restaurant having a somehow higher end dishes (that we also tried in a previous visit) we opted for the tapas. Nicely cooked and with great presentation and very reasonable prices. Wide variety of meat fish vegetarian... it suited all of us. Of course, the tapas bar was meant to be shared dishes so we got a sample of everything. Nice wine options. We ended up paying something like 18 20 euro each including the drinks. Service was optimal even on a fully booked Saturday night. Reservations are strongly recommended for weekend evenings. On summer nights they open their outside terrace Would certainly repeat

Traditional Mediterranean restaurant on the market. recommended for rice, as well as meat and fish, all made at home. also has a gastro-bar card with more tapas for the nights. special mention to celiacs. excellent value for money. a la carte to the lid of the telf.
