Seated us early for our 6:15 which was great because we had 7:30 theater tickets. Good gf options. Our table of 4 split the paella. It was excellent and filling. Service was quick and we made it to DPAC with time to spare.

This was a very weird experience. Food (Spanish cheese plate, bacon wrapped dates, stuffed mushrooms and chicken empanadas) was sub par at best- frozen appetizers are about the equivalent of the quality. Service was very weird, odd social skills, tension between staff. Where we were sitting had a wrag hanging from the ceiling? Very confused. Our gift card was apparently on a different system so they took my phone (instead of writing down the info) for a solid 5 min behind the bar. It was just overall a weird experience. Especially for downtown Durham, even moreso for having Mateo’s around the corner. Maybe we ordered the wrong things- maybe we caught them on an off night- either way won’t be coming back and won’t recommend. Details on the food: Spanish cheese plate- $19 for 8 slices of cheese and 6 small slices of bread. The cheese was pretty flavorless. Stuffed mushrooms- tasted like beef stroganoff Bacon wrapped dates- overcooked and way too sweet Chicken empanadas- someone accidentally knocked over the salt shaker when they made these.

Stephanie and Mary treated my best friend and I with the upmost respect and decency. The food was awesome and the staff super friendly. The wine was divine and I felt like I was at a nice banquet as far as atmosphere is concern. This is a good place to bring a date or loved one. Parking: Parking in street is free after 6pm

We had a great experience! Food and drinks were stellar (we ended up getting another plate of the short ribs since it was a table favorite! service was great we arrived early for our reservation and were able to seated immediately.

Five out of towners for dinner. Was told twice our waitress was on the way but finally a male took our dink order and came back for first round of tapas order with some prompting. Then a long wait and to ask twice for a server (female) to take a second round order. Food very good and timely once orders placed.
