Seriously big bbq. had the brisket and whistled as they were the only meat options left, and they were both fantastic best brisket that I had and an incredibly generous portion for only $15.50 (2 meats, 2 pages.) I am grateful that they were from mac.
I am in pecos for about 2 months, and knew about this place from previous reviews. it's wonderful. I had the brisket two times. large portion, super damp, very tasty. I also tried the pecan pie (made in house and comes with fresh whipped cream,) and bananenpudding (also.) service is family oriented and friendly, and eating comes within about 10 minutes. they are only open 11 2, wed fri, and they sell out, so they come before l 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) if they want authentic texas bbq, this place makes the note.
I'm trying to drive the 9 hours for the pecos spud and the pork ribs. three years ago on a road trip from atlanta with my family and wanted to try the bbq in Texas. So we randomly chose pody’s to gogling sites right in front of the interstate. it was a great choice! I've scratched the brisks and the blacks ever since. hands down is the best braut I ever had and the pork was delicious!
Brisket wasn?t sliced correctly hardly any flavor on the brisket. Pork rib was horrible and the turkeys was moist it was good. I paid for 1 quart of potato salad and 1 quart of green beans but only received one scoop of each. I didn?t say anything verydisappointed will never go back
Really good BBQ! The brisket was super moist and the green chili hominy was great!
