Pody's Bbq - Pecos

Stunning on this place with my wife while driving through Pecos and had no idea that they have a reputation of the best BBQ in Texas. We were both pleasantly surprised as our food was amazing. Came fast and the taste was perfect. Very recommended.

I am tempted to drive the 9 hrs. for the Pecos Spud and the pork ribs. Was on a road trip three years ago coming back from Atlanta with my family and wanted to try the BBQ in Texas. So we randomly selected PODY's after googling places right off the interstate. It was a GREAT choice!!! I have craved the brisket and pork ribs every since. Hands down it's the BEST brisket I've ever had and the pork ribs were delicious! :

Love the brisket and the pork rib here!! So juicy and tender. We are just so lucky to be at Peco and this place only opens 3 days a week! This is the best bbq we have in texas during my three week road trip here. The kind lady at the cashier just gave us water without charge when I asked whether there is any water dispenser. I am quite shocked by the generosity! Appreciate that!

This place is good! The portions are huge for the money! The brisket is on par with salt lick and other famous places.

Stopped here for lunch on our way between Carlsbad Caverns and Big Bend. This was hands-down the best brisket we’ve ever eaten in our LIVES. I’m going to be dreaming about more of that for a long time. Curly fries were really good too.
