Seafood in West Texas????!!!! No way! Folks, this is hands down one of THE best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp and mixed fajitas. Woah! Excellent service and excellent food excellent review.......Way to go guys! Update: Last two visits I had the wings were cold and the shrimp cocktail was room temperature. Gross. I arrived just after the restaurant opened, and the chips were cold; they seemed like leftovers from the previous day. I had a hard time understanding the waitress because of her limited English. The fish was awful, and I honestly couldn’t tell if it was even fish at all! I’ve been here before and had an amazing experience, but this time it was really disappointing. The price per person was around $20–30.
I was extremely disappointed with the $50 New York prime steak. I would estimate that about 35% of the steak was fat, and it had no flavor whatsoever. The service was terrible; I had to wait 45 minutes for my food. The waitstaff hardly spoke any English. The only positive aspect of this place is that they offer a military discount. If you’re looking for a flavorful steak in Pecos, I would suggest going elsewhere. Price range per person: $50–100.
While there might be a bit of a wait, the food is fantastic, and the portions are generous. It's on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend the grilled shrimp tacos. Price per person: $20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5. Recommended dishes: Grilled Shrimp, Fish Tacos, and Shrimp Tacos.
