**Dining Experience at Local Restaurant: A Mixed Bag**
Nestled in a humble spot, this restaurant reveals a stark contrast in experiences. While some patrons praised the flavorful chile relleno and friendly service, others were deterred by unsettling cleanliness issues, including reports of pests interrupting meals. Compliments were directed at the complimentary chips and salsa, yet many felt the main dishes lacked zest and freshness, particularly the fajitas. Although the ambiance offers a cozy feel reminiscent of home-cooked meals, pervasive hygiene concerns overshadow the cuisine's potential, leaving diners divided on whether they’d return for another visit. Caveat emptor applies in this culinary space.

I was not impressed with my experience. I ordered the ribeye, which was priced at $23, but I found it to be quite disappointing. The meat was barely 1/4 inch thick, turned out gray, and was tough and unpleasant to chew. The salad I received was just a small serving of shredded lettuce, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 cup, and the tomato was mostly green. Overall, this is not a place I would choose to return to for a meal.
The food was decent, but not impressive. It lacked flavor and seasoning, making it rather bland. However, they did offer chips and salsa before the meal, which was a nice touch. The fajitas were also underwhelming, lacking sufficient vegetables and pico de gallo.
My boyfriend ordered the 2A plate, which included enchiladas, a taco, and a chile relleno. I went for the 2B plate, featuring an enchilada, tacos, and another chile relleno. Both meals came with rice and beans. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed our sweet teas along with fresh chips and salsa. We both agreed that the chile relleno was the highlight of the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that cost us about $25, plus tip.
