Pots es un acogedor restaurante familiar de hotpot y tienda de tés herbales ubicado en la ciudad de Peabody. Somos el primer hotpot speakeasy en North Shore, y nos esforzamos por ofrecer sabores excepcionales y creatividad en todos nuestros platos. Al entrar, nuestra tienda de tés herbales muestra una variedad de tés internacionales, especias, hierbas y hongos para elegir. Tras cruzar la puerta del speakeasy, te adentras en un auténtico Huo Guo tradicional chino. El hotpot es un plato comunal originario de China, donde una olla con caldo hirviendo se coloca en el centro de la mesa y los comensales cocinan juntos una variedad de ingredientes crudos, desde vegetales y fideos hasta carnes de alta calidad y dumplings artesanales. En Pots servimos caldos únicos y llenos de sabor, con una selección especial de especias. Una vez que los ingredientes están cocidos, puedes pasar a nuestra barra de salsas y agregar toques adicionales a tu mezcla. El hotpot es una experiencia social que se disfruta en compañía de familia y amigos. Queremos dar la bienvenida a la comunidad y compartir la rica historia cultural del hotpot contigo.

The service and atmosphere were nice, but oh my goodness the food is A) wildly overpriced B) very low quality ingredients, we were left feeling very strange after eating the food and we are organic eaters so we are sensitive to low quality ingredients and we can easily tell that there were strange chemicals.
This place is really a hidden gem. The atmosphere is really unique, it’s almost like a little speakeasy as when you walk in you almost think: “is this the right place?” I believe it used to be a Mexican restaurant so there is some kind of food truck cutout on the wall! Service is decently quick, not to mention I have been there multiple times in a large group with no reservation and they have made it work. The food is great, they tell you how long to cook it and there are many options that everyone will find something to enjoy. You can pick what you want custom but the packages have enough variety as is in my opinion. They have many tea options that sound cool as well but I don’t drink tea
Loved the options of either the packages no substitutions or pick options singularly. Really liked the atmosphere and decorations. Rood was good quality and speedy service. The parking is on the street paid with meter QR code.
Everything here was great. The most important thing about a hot pot place is probably the broth. The flavor of the mushroom and spicy broths were perfect. They had a good selection of things that you can put in the hot pot as well. I really enjoyed the sliced meats and the tofu. They also had a lot of interesting looking teas and cocktails. We ordered the first package on their menu with a couple appetizers. We had four people in our party and we were all stuffed at the end of the meal. The sauce station here was a little smaller than what you would typically see at hot pot places. But the sauces they had were all great. The decor and the speakeasy style entrance were also pretty cool. Would definitely come back.
