Alfonso's Mexican Food - Payson

We affectionately call it Fonzo 's cuz we eat here so often. The cute little shack in the back of the parking lot is the perfect atmosphere, but it 's the authentic Mexican cooked by real Mexican grandmothers and the incredible service by the front team that makes this the bombest spot in AZ to get your burrito on

We found this little jewel a few years ago. I just love her food, never being disappointed, our once every two weeks date night. They are fast, prices are great, food is delicious.

A real hole in the wall joint. No frills, big numbered menu with many combos— and everything is a good deal. Big portions for little money. Did I mention how good it was? I would make a point to be in this area again specifically to get Alfonso’s.

I've eaten here since 2014 and this place had the best Mexican food I've ever eaten! There are many places in the city that serve Mexican foods such as Aliberto or El Rancho, but if you want big but cheap Mexican food, that is your place. I usually get the chorizo breakfast Burrito or the Carne Asada Burrito, and my wife usually gets the egg and sausage breakfast Burrito. All three are delicious, and everything else I have here is great! This place is your definition of a “hole in the wall restaurant”, but it is fantastic! Eat here!
