This brewpub occupies one in a long row of shacks in what appears to be an artists' colony at the furthest end. This means that there isn't much space for folks to lounge around inside perhaps room for only 10 12 people to sit so when I stopped by, most folks visited quickly for a flight of 3 small pours or a full pint of one of the 3 options on tap. As for the 3 brews, I found all of them clean, easily poundable, ni... View all feedback.
Crooked Current, the smallest Brewery in RI and home of the famous Neapolitan Brown Ale (the ice cream beer! , is a one-of-a-kind place run mostly by women!! Nichole 's brews are unique, delicious, and always served with a smile!! Not to mention those great Drink beer from here tees! Hours are Th Fr 5-8pm, and Sa 1-5pm. Crooked Current Brewery is located at 560 Mineral Spring Ave in Pawtucket. Cheers!!
Crooked Current loves to brag that they are the smallest brewery in the smallest state. I was so excited to get to Crooked Current to support. The owner brewer is the only female full-time brewer in Rhode Island. What a good cause to support!!! We lucked out that she was on site slinging her amazing beers. She gave us the low down. Letting us know that they always have 3 beers on tap, usually a stout. She also mentioned that during the fall season she loves to brew a maple pumpkin beer. Sadly, on that exact day they didn't have it available, the first batch had run out and the second batch was a few days from being ready. Everyone that frequents Crooked Current let us know that indeed the maple pumpkin is phenomenal. I'll have to make it back during the fall season in hopes of getting to try it. Please find a way to get yourself to Crooked Current Brewery. You can support the little brewery and a female brewer brewery owner at the same time!!! That is a win-win!!!! Cheers!
The best brewery in RI. They're incapable of making a bad beer.
Awesome brewery. They always have awesome super creative beers. They keep their Facebook page up to date with all their new beer offerings, which has been really helpful. I'm always popping in there to see what interesting seasonal beers they have. Have really liked most of their offerings so far. The single to go can growlers are massive.
Still my favorite brewery in RI. Just come here, you won't be disappointed.
