Upon arriving at the parking lot, we wer... read more This restaurant was recommended by a resident friend and it turned out to be a very competent and enjoyable restaurant. Upon arriving at the parking lot, we were concerned with the numerous tour coaches parked there tourist trap? . Inside, the restaurant was heaving with traditional song and dance by Russian performers who were surrounded by tourists and their cameras, with long tables of tourists also chiming along. Thankfully, we were guided to a quieter corner table away from the fracas. Our waiter spoke excellent English and was able to pace the serving of our courses quite well. He came regularly to check on us and his recommendations for drinks were spot on. Luckily for us, Korushka (smelt) fish was in season so we each ordered a portion as main. Needless to say, we left totally satisfied and happy. Putin probably did too after his birthday party here 19 years ago... (one can also enjoy Putin 's meal too, at Rub5000 a set). This is a place we will return to and highly recommend!

Luckily for us korushka (melt) fish was in the season so that we all ordered a part as porn unnecessarily to say we have completely satisfied and happy. putin probably has here 19 years ago after his birthday party.
