A charming little French bistro nestled in a residential area of South Pasadena. The parking is extremely easy because there are many parking spaces in the street available without a counter or allowed in this part of the city. It is a small place, but well done in this sense that the tables are not too close together and allow them to eat inside and outside. Our waitress Fabienne was very polite and attentive, she did an excellent job. I love bistros and I go often, so I've already come by knowing what I wanted to have, but as usual, I was influenced by the chef's dish for my entry. I started with French onion soup and it was very good and made in a classic style, perfect for a cold winter night. We also ordered the cheese balls (goat cheese and gruyère wrapped in prosciutto) and these were exceptionally tasty; They sold me once I heard the goat cheese. For my entry, I was going to take the trout but when I heard the special ribs, I chose it and it was rich and delicious. I wish he came with more sauce than I missed halfway, but it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. A big bistro all around and I would recommend it to everyone. It's nice to get out of LA on the occasion to mix it, then come north in this quiet area and an excellent service was a pleasure. Three of us had a good night with a very good service. This restaurant could be a real winner, but food is not as extraordinary as possible. Looks like the owner's boss doesn't look closely at the competition. The steaks were sold as old dry to very high-end, but were not as tasty and tender as they should have been. Beautiful jewel in the centre of south pasadena. Unbelievable traditional French cousin. My favorite is a duck thigh. A charming place will definitely take me to France for a moment. . . located in a charming neighborhood, the service was amazing, just like food!!! Very authentic and very delicious!!
