Description
Under new ownership the longtime burger spot has been refreshed with new paint, a revamped menu and reliably tasty burgers, fries, shakes and ice cream. Service is often friendly and orders come quickly, with DoorDash and Apple Pay available, but inconsistent order accuracy, surprise extra charges and at least one public staff confrontation reveal management hiccups. The dining room can feel uncomfortably cold. Despite flaws, the solid comfort food, crisp fries and reasonable prices make it worth a visit.

Wow! This is our new favorite burger spot! We absolutely loved it! The cashier was fantastic—she was very patient while we placed our order. Thank you! It’s a 20-minute drive from our home, but it’s definitely worth it! We will definitely be returning!
Ranch Burger has closed and has been reborn as Texas Burger Drive-In from Gustine, but they kept the Ranch Burger name. They opened at the perfect time, as Patterson has been missing a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious burgers. I highly recommend checking them out!
I was a huge fan of Tiger's Den (yes, I'm throwing it all the way back and genuinely enjoyed Ranch Burger (mainly for it's nostalgic appeal . But over the past few years, the burgers and fries were not as tasty as they used to be and the hours of operation were limited (closed on weekends! . BUT, that has all changed. Ranch Burger is under new management. It's got a fresh coat of paint (crimson and grey! and a revamped menu. And the food.... DELICIOUS! Also, they still sell Pepsi (that alone merits additional stars . I came on a Sunday at 10:30 am (they open at 9:00 am and was greeted by a friendly smile. After familiarizing myself with the menu, I ordered the Texas Deluxe Burger (aka Ranch Special my husband ordered the Deluxe Bacon Burger. The wait was minimal and the food was delicious. There was plenty of bacon on the Bacon Burger, both burgers had fresh toppings and plenty of sauce. The crinkle cut fries were crispy and had seasoning salt. The food is solid and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back whenever I'm in town. I just want to thank the new owners for bringing back this gem. The new paint looks great and the food is even better. They take ApplePay and participate in DoorDash.
I found a strawberry in my oreo milkshake ? But other than that it tastes really good. Everything is great.
