What User doesn't like about Ihop:
if they are white or Hispanic, not go here! New Year's Day. I don't understand that many employees are on the clock. I am very patient. but two other parties went after me. they sat before me. a group of 2, then a group of 3. that was only my 2 children (they are young and very young) and I myself. 3 people. completely ignored because I am white (also hispanic) and my children are Hispanic. Very nice team. The food was good, but the Omelet was too fat.
When you walk in there's a sign indicating they are short staffed and apologize for the inconvenience if you experience a delay during your visit ..I don't mind that and yes we did experience the lack of quick attention...food took a while. Our waitress was extremely nice but busy .I had to hunt down the syrup and ketchup. But thie most disappointing part was the food. The French fries were little pieces like you end up with when your bag of frozen is just about empty. The sausage tasted a bit aged. The grilled chicken was ok but the rice medley didn't look very appetizing and the flavor was as unappetizing as it looked. Thankfully the pancakes were good. I have never had this poor experience at an IHOP before. I won't be back to this location.
I arrived around 10:00am not crowded. I waited several minutes before being seated no one consistently checks the front door for perspective diners. Once I was finally noticed, a waitress (pregnant with dreads) came to the front and grabbed a menu. She walked me to a table and I thanked her. She made no eye contact and said nothing to me and just walked away. Before sitting I noticed the table was not clean. I didn't even sit. I walked out. I will not be going back as on each occasion the customer service was lacking, the food was overcooked. Lastly, stop customers from using their speaker phone while dining. Why do other diners have to hear loud phone conversations, music, videos and games while dining. This behavior is IGNORANT
30 minutes wait and there is only 3 people in the restaurant but greeter’s on the phone and talking to all their employees friends and no one wants to work worst place ever will never come to this place ever again so unprofessional
