I also loved the set price, 3-course lunch menu--beautifully prepared and served and so delicious. The servers speak English (and perhaps other languages) which is helpful if you don't speak Spanish. I ate several lunches here with friends, and breakfast daily for three weeks, and loved everything. A simple dessert dish like melon turned out to be chunks of different melon types in a sea of whipped cream--what fun! This restaurant is situated in the Hospes Palau de la Mar hotel, in a wholly residential neighborhood. If you'd like a relaxed meal in a lovely setting, this is for you. Enjoy!

This restaurant has a lovely terrace... read more Firstly I am a Valencia resident so am commenting based on my experiences of eating in the area over the last 4 years plus. This restaurant has a lovely terrace, and given it was August, it was relatively quiet for a street terrace. The food was good but not exceptional, but the service and some staff were to say the least lacking skill. To start I ordered a beer tostado but was given a Zero Alcohol which I didn’t request. It was changed without question but I should have been offered the choice. The starters, well we ordered scallops only to be told they weren’t available and for a restaurant of this standard was surprising. We chose an alternative. The main course of ravioli was good but nothing exceptional. Now my one gripe. The desert, a supposedly white chocolate coulant with ice cream. It was a small muffin with ice cream and some crumbs, for €9. They’re having a laugh. It was robbery. The service was extremely iffy and not up to the standards I have had in other restaurants. As you readers can see, I am a Level 50+ critic having eaten in many restaurants. Would I eat here again. No, given there is better in Valencia that provides better value for money.
