The Cliffton - Patchogue
The Cliffton
Description
The Clifton is an iconic Patchogue dive bar known for cheap drinks, charismatic bartenders and a raucous, welcoming crowd—ideal for parade-goers and nightlife seekers. Reviews are polarized: many praise the atmosphere, value and staff, while others report poor cleanliness, a doorless men's restroom, inconsistent customer policies and abrasive management. Expect lively, unpretentious fun, but not pristine facilities or a quiet evening.

So we are in Patchogue for the Parade St Patrick and one of my friends suggests going to The Clifton. First I'm like oh no, this place has such a terrible reputation that I can't go. Well, she's armed me, and I'm not going in. I have to say I had an absolute explosion. Everyone who works there was so nice. Your drink card is ridiculously cheap. The vibes are great. Even a random horse came in and joined the party. 10/10!
The place is great, the bartenders are great and Brian is the best bar owner in Patchogue. Need a drink in a place with a beautiful atmosphere then The Cliffton is the place. See you.
