**Ruta Oaxaca: A Culinary Delight on Long Island** Nestled on Long Island, Ruta Oaxaca offers a memorable dining experience marked by exceptional quality and authenticity. Guests rave about the beautifully prepared, unique meals and delicious margaritas, though some have noted the higher price points and a la carte offerings that may leave customers wanting more. The attentive, friendly service enhances the atmosphere, with staff going the extra mile for occasions like anniversaries. Signature dishes like pulpo, rib tacos, and the delightful tres leches cake garner high praise, making this establishment a favorite for both casual outings and special celebrations. Ruta Oaxaca truly stands out in the local culinary scene.
The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. We'll definitely be back soon!
Ruta Oaxaca is one of my favorite spots on Long Island. It's hands down the best Mexican dining experience you can find. We chose to have our New Year's Eve dinner here, and it was an excellent decision. The expanded menu is fantastic, and the service is consistently wonderful. The buñuelos are incredible, and you absolutely must try the churros for dessert. Happy New Year!
The food was incredible! The service was excellent! This was my fourth visit, and I look forward to a fifth! Everything was fresh and delicious, consistently on point.
A quick summary: Great quality food. Unusual and special meal choices prepared beautifully. Attentive friendly service. Margaritas were delicious. small drinks, mostly ice for $15. Wine was also not a generous pour. Pulpo was delicious pricey with no sides. Tacos were so good but plates included no vegetables, beans or rice. All a la carte. We left a little hungry, even after an appetizer, which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant at $50 pp. I was wondering why it was so empty on a Saturday night during the holidays. I would go back but I’ll be prepared to order sides.
