Was Dayna van der Zande at Dirty Taco Tequila Patchogue a mag?
I tried this place once before and wasn’t too impressed, I don’t know if they’ve changed things but I tried it again and yum! The roasted carrot/sweet potato taco was one of the best vegetarian tacos I’ve ever had, and I’m not a vegetarian! The flavor profile was complex and delicious. I was really blown away by it. Bug problem — Visited with a friendly recently. While the food that came out was fine, and the server was kind, albeit inattentive, the problem is that there were a LOT of filth flies. The kind you’d see in a public restroom. One landed in my food, THREE landed in my friend’s drink and died. These tacos were just insanely good. Best I’ve ever had. Love that you can mix and match however many tacos you want and there’s such a wide variety from Koran BBQ to ahi tuna tacos! Highly recommend the birria, ahi tuna, and chimichurri tacos. Drinks were great and vibes were amazing

I had a great time!!! My server Jill was kind and provided the most comfortable amazing atmosphere available! She really helped me take a load off and relax after a long week at work. Can’t wait to go back!!

This place is !! I have only been there twice, but both groups I dined with were extremely happy with the quality of the food and drinks and the service! Who knew something as simple at roasted street corn could knock ya socks off! I highly recommend!!
