Then the lovely family that owned the place sold it, and it just never was as good.... read more Was a customer at How May Kitchen for decades; my parents always went there. Then the lovely family that owned the place sold it, and it just never was as good. Tried several other local Chinese places, and never found the right fit until New China King. The food is always great: never had a bad dish ever. The owners and workers are so polite and cordial. The lovely lady who takes your order is such a sweet person! She also knows just about everything there is to know about growing orchids and succulents. This is now my go-to Chinese Food Restaurant!

The pork is tough... read more I really like the food here! Whilst the food is technically freshest on Tuesday, I find the food is actually a lot tastier later in the week. The pork is tough and liable to get stuck in your teeth in tiny bits, but by Thursday it is melt in your mouth tender and flavored all throughout the meat. If you aren 't sure what to order, look at what they cater. I think they do those dishes best. I tried the Lo Mein, the Beef with Broccoli, and the Chicken with Broccoli also. All are great! The Sesame Chicken 's sauce is candy-sweet and hard on sensitive teeth, so beware! If a good egg roll or Wonton soup are important, you may be disappointed. As Gordon Ramsay would describe... frozen and bland-tasting. China King excels at entrees. My review is over multiple orders.

The food is always so good fresh every t... read more One of the best Chinese takeout spots that I’ve tried. Whenever I’m passing by I HAVE to stop in for the Sesame Balls!! The food is always so good fresh every time I go. Owners are super nice too — highly recommend this spot.
