Passau hat eine sehe sehenswerte Altstadt, die leicht zu Fuß kennenzulernen ist. Unbedingt sollte man den Srefansdom und das alte Rathaus besichtigen.Auf jedenfalls nicht verpassen: das 3 - Flüsse Eck an der Spitze der Altstadt, wo Donau, Innerhalb und Ilz mit ihren verschiedenen Wasserfärbungen zur Donau verschmelzen. Die Altstadt bietet neben vielerlei Souvenirshops (oft auf amerikanisches Publikum ausgerichtet) zahlreiche Restaurants und Cafés sowie viele Eisdielen.
