Place was cool with a chill vibe. Drinks were excellent, and service was AWESOME. However, because its names as a fish place, I tried the halibut with elote…you know…fish. It was not good at all. My local friends had non seafood dishes and they loved it. (I was visiting from LA afterwards they told me they never order fish from here lol). Apparently… you’re to avoid the seafood at “FISH” Gaucho and everything other than fish is really good.

Good food and drinks, service is good at the bar.Recommend the happy hour menu as it is quite reasonably priced and especially the Ahi Crudo is delightful.

Really wanted to love this place but sadly disappointed with the food.Only thing we enjoyed was the short rib taco and the spice margaritas. The fish taco literally had one tiny bite of fish and a ton of vinegary slaw. We even asked for another one thinking it was a mistake but got the same thing again. The Guacamole really had no flavor and the Nachos were covered in “wagyu” that tasted like low end ground beef.

I had the lobster enchiladas in June of 2023, they were amazing and very full of lobster.I ordered them again in March of 2024, and they were mostly kale. They were still delicious. But, they're the same price and have clearly decreased the portion.

Great vibe (dog friendly! , nice presentation on the cocktails. The cactus on the table was nice but I think an unnecessary decoration given the spikiness. The octo ceviche and Chile Verde were the highlights. I was excited about the tacos but disappointed that you could only mix and match two (the short rib and carnitas . Of the two the short rib tacos were my favorite because of the punchy flavor from the pickled chili and overall texture combination. The carnitas were average. Our table enjoyed the poblano rice and black beans as sides.
