Was Alighieri Ruggiero at Catch a mag?
My husband and I have dined at Catch multiple times and are consistently pleased. On our most recent visit on September 15, 2022, we sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the menu and the overall experience. View all feedback.

We walked in at 5 with no reservation but got seated at the bar. Sit there if you can and have a small party. Chico the owner/chef is an entertainer as well as an excellent chef. Self made man who loves his craft, his restaurant, and his employees. I asked if he thought the sea bass or the sand dabs were better, he said he would do both for me as a special. Both were excellent and really awesome that I was able to taste both. My wife had the blackened salmon which was also excellent. I took pictures of an Australian lobster tail that he prepared which looked perfect. Really fun night. Go to Catch if you can, you won?t be disappointed.

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We began with oysters, followed by shellfish and crab cakes, and finished with the sand escape dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very sweet, and the owner was lovely. The atmosphere was great too.

Every time we pass through Paso Robles we have dinner at Catch. Our dinner was amazing. I had the Ahi with Wasabi and Soy Sauce. It was seared and oh so flavorful. My husband had the halibut with mixed veggies and red potatoes. He is typically not a seafood eater but the garlic shrimp atop the halibut were so tasty along with the halibut. We will be back! Make reservations to sit at the bar. It is amazing to watch the chefs prepare the food and meet Chico Mora, the owner, working behind the counter. Thank you Catch for another great meal!!

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the wineries we visited, and it didn't disappoint. We were able to be seated on a busy Saturday without a reservation. It was a bus night, I think we just lucked out. We ordered the calamari, seabass onalfredo fettuccine pasta, and lamb. Everything had really good flavor. The alfredo sauce tasted homemade and wasn't too thickand creamy. We would be happy to return the next time were are in Paso Robles.

Was in the area for the weekend. My absolute must have when by the beach is clam chowder so wherever we would choose to eat had to have some! However, I also had to think about the rest of the fam bam???? I decided to go here because they did, in fact, have clam chowder. However, other requests were Italian food and anything but burgers. After looking at the reviews, this placeseemed to fit all requests! It was about a 10 minute drive from where we were. We got there after 7:30 and found a parking spacewithin five minutes. The whole area was busy! The restaurant is nestled in between many other restaurants in the vacinity. It issmall so depending on their busy time, you'll probably have to wait a bit. Since we arrived after 730, our wait was less than 10minutes. At first, once we got the menu, we were concerned that we wouldn't find a plate our 9 yr old would like. The menu wassimple but the selections were a bit fancy for our child's liking. We told our concern to our waitress. Thankfully, they wereable to make spaghetti and what kid doesn't like spaghetti?! Once we got that settled, the rest of us decided to get clamchowder, salmon salad, filet mignon, and seafood soup. Everyone loved their food! The clam chowder could have been more creamybut taste was on point! My very picky steak eater of a husband was impressed with their filet mignon. He did the butter knifetest and the steak melted under the knife ???????? The seafood was delicious and packed with flavor. I was so full from just theclam chowder that I didn't have room for my salad but the salmon was delicious (I picked some off to taste ???? . The servicewas great and our waitress got a 20% tip because she did so well. Since the place was small and quaint, it's hard to not beclose to other patrons and it was pretty loud. But honestly, that was my only gripe and that's just a personal preference. Inthe end, this place was mama-approved! Would recommend and will come back if we're in the area!
