Thai Dara - Pasig

We loved the green curry chicken which tasted of real Thai and didn't scrimp on coconut milk. The pad thai was likewise delicious but we noticed a hint of sweetness - was this an attempt to tune it to the Filipino taste? The crab omelette was too oily.

Great food, reasonable price and decent serving size. Really enjoyed trying this place, it's a hidden gem. Well worth making the trip. Friendly atmosphere.

Good Thai food but note that they close around 2:30. A bit pricey but worth it. Our go-to place for Thai food cravings. Their green chicken curry and spring rolls are yum. I had better pad thai but theirs is pretty decent.

Locations inside pioneer center mandaluyong  so plenty of parking spaces available. place is small. interior is very plain & simple. must try the sticky rice with mango & tom yum shirmp soup very nicely presented with live fire  & pandan chicken & pomelo salad.   food taste is average nothing worth remembering or craving to come back. intensity of spice & chilly seems to be lacking.  fried tofu is not worth it too simple & too sweet.  bagoong rice is normal generic  nothing outstanding . food taste lacks instensity or creativity to stand out. prices average nothing special in the menu. servers was fast & efficient but was recommending pad thai when were only 3 of us & got bagoong rice too much carbo

Saturday dinner.???? Located in Pioneer Kapitolyo, beside another Thai place Siam Thai. It's a great factor that this compound provides free parking. Thai Dara may be small but effective. It has a "wall of testimonials" on it for diners tagging the resto with their photos. They offer extensive selection of authentic Thai food( and Thai music). We ordered Tom Yum Noodle(225php).My boyfriend likes this better than the Tom Yum Noodle @Tamarind as it has a more subtle combination of spice in it and less sour. As always I love the spicy, aromatic and rich broth with the versatile noodles. I just hope they didn't include parsley in the broth, it's kind of compromising the taste. Chef's Fave Salmon Belly(279php). Grilled salmon belly topped with Thai style ripe mango salsa. The belly was too fatty and rich for my taste. The salsa was fresh and refreshing. Portions including the rice were group friendly. Btw, transactions were cash basis only. #ThaiDara
