It was my first time at La Maripili today though I've known this place for quite some time now. I haven't really got a chance to try it before since the Alabang branch is too far. But now, no more reasons for me to skip this one out! I finally tried their Churros which are really famous to foodies and now I understand why. ???????????????? View all feedback.
What Ella Yundt doesn't like about La Maripili:
excites to taste their churros and chocolate, when we saw it literally buying it, they get one. the place had interesting interiors and we had everything for us. the personal was friendly. churros was served hot with the chocolate. but it's not my favorite. I like the other mark d more. perhaps their others are better View all feedback.
More restaurants are opening here at the 30th Mall in Ortigas and there are a few more spots undergoing construction. I being near this mall, I expect with glee. La Maripili is one of the newest addition and they serve mostly toasts, crepes and pastas. I got their Php 290 set as recommended by their wait staff. It comes with your choice of salad, sandwich and default crunchy and not greasy churros served with really dark chocolate dip. Not bad for a three piece bundle. I chose refreshing greens with more vegetables and tender Grilled Chicken with light cheese. I also got one of the things they are proud of, crepe. I got my customized a bit and they were willing to comply. Mango Nutella for Php 300. It was a huge plate with surmounting amount of sweet chocolate and significant slices of sweet mangoes. I ate it all and I am much delighted I did. No guilt. Have you been to this mall yet? It's small but it does offer a lot of more than decent food choices. alwayshungry.ph
March 22, 2017 || #1085 || Churro x Chocolate We came here only for the Churros, but they offer more than just that. A menu filled with snacks - such as sweet and savory Crepes, various Sandwiches , and enough toasts to boast. A snack house of sorts, but with the Churro craze still in play, it's the menu is that dictates. I'm glad they decided to open up shop here at Ayala 30th in Pasig City the Mid-point of the Metro. Their first location in Alabang Corporate Center attracted me with their white and bright interiors, which they haven't translated well enough here. Ambiance here is dim and rather sleepy with the yellow lighting not helping the darker back area of this deeper store layout. The wooden materials feel very rustic and premium, something a full-blown resto would use. We were served water upon seating and thought this was a sit down place, but it's a pays as your order joint. Churros are affordable at 10 pesos a stick, available in 6 (60 PHP), 12... read more
YOU NEED SIDES. Fries. Chips. A salad. Something. What kind of sandwich has no sides? Admittedly, my brie jamon serrano sandwich was delicious. But I wish there were more texture and flavor variety to my meal (crunch, saltiness etc.) The jamon serrano toast was also good but the tomato paste was a bit too tangy for my taste. The oyster mushroom and more crepe was also yummy but suffered the same problem as my sandwich. Different textures para hindi nakakaumay. The stuffed vanilla cream crepe was overpriced and not good. Took them 30minutes to serve two tiny pieces that were barely bigger than my hand. What a joke. Super disappointed in this. On the brightside The place is gorgeous, relaxing and perfect for hanging out or getting work done.

Churros are affordable at 10 pesos a stick, available in 6 (60 PHP), 12 (120 PHP), and 18 (180 PHP) pieces with no dip. Each churro is crisp and full, not overly oil, just the right light and crisp feel. We decided on their Dark Chocolate Dip (110 PHP) which easily can accommodate the 12 piece pack. eater.ph
