Although you walk into the restaurant feeling like someone should at least escort you to a place, unfortunately you have to either awkwardly seat yourself or flag down a waitress. However a note should be added to make a reservation for this restaurant for the best seating experience... Alot of the preferential places to sit are reserved... Also because their is no sign if you can sit inside or outside the restaurant directly after you get off of the escalator, you should ask right away. We actually found a nice seat at the side of the restaurant by the kitchen area. If you should happen to dit in this area you may encounter a lovely young waitress names MONI ...she is both helpful and quick...she speaks both English and German. Very pleasant and thoughtful... The other waitress are also somewhat courteous, but she is by far the best... And a great example of how to waitress. The food is impeccable, really good... Vegetables are fresh and the meat tender.. There is a photographer which kinda walks from table to table who takes pictures of the guests either food or themselves. He is known as Gerhard ... A really wonderful person, who also has a DJ set at the ROX. He is not obstrusive or pushy... He communicates well and gets your permission to take your picture. He will also send it to you if you like. Again the food is exquisite... And the atmosphere lovely... Down side: seating without reservation can be tricky. Seats are small but comfortable. If you don 't smoke do seat yourself down the stairs behind the glass. Space on the tables for two are somewhat annoying, however the waitress does clear away dishes frequently... One tid bit, they sometimes clean the table as your sitting.. reaching across you..if you don 't like this, you should say right away... pleasantly of course. I think it 's custom here in Austria. Other than these things... Have a great time at Rox!
