Indonesian restaurants are a rarity in the metro, but this particular spot offers a combination of Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine. Despite some mixed reviews, most customers seem to appreciate the nearly authentic flavors and friendly service. The menu features familiar dishes like satay, beef rendang, and fried rice, with some patrons raving about the chicken satay and beef curry. The ambiance may be average, and the space a bit cramped, but for those seeking a taste of Indonesian and Malaysian fare in a Halal-certified establishment, this restaurant seems to be a suitable choice.

Was Paris Stark at Martabak a mag?
The food is great especially the roti canai with chicken satay! My friend and i ordered combo 1. I like the chicken satay more than the beef rendang. The place is quite small so it's not that comfortable especially if you're in a group but the food was worth it 10/10 View all feedback.

What Antonette Gutkowski dislikes about Martabak:
Martabak serves Indian food but not really authentic because the spices that they use is mostly just chili powder. They have a good location at MOA but the place is a bit cramped and the decorations make the place look cheap but it's not because most of their rice meals are over php200. Not so worth it. Indonesian restaurants are a rare find around the metro, maybe because it does not cater to the local palate.I'm a fan of everything Southeast Asian, Though the menu are a combination of Indonesian and Malaysian, the selection are the usual and familiar . So I ordered the combo plate of satay ,beef rendang and fried rice and egg.The taste and texture of the chicken satay were pretty decent,I like the beef rendang the sauce is caldereta like with coconutty flavor, fried rice tastes well.Overall nearly authentic which I really like . Place a bit cramped but understandable.Good service, friendly owner and staff. If you like something different and something Indonesian ,Malaysian and Halal, this is a suitable place .

Not even close to Indo-Malay style food. This is just is just a step up from a food stall in Jakarta or Kl and way over priced. Authentic in the sense that it was an Asian greasy spoon down an alley or on a street. Those places do much better and are affordable. Never again. Good service

The food was not worth the price. presentation was terrible with splatters the soße on the whole plate. has not tasted authentic. meat in the bark was hard. the waitress looked confused when the suppe was requested, which was a side for the rice flours. reis was also of low quality; dry and granular. they fly in the escaping area to eat on the table. that is not recommended.
