I was looking for a place with coffee and a little something on the side. I found Leberry and really enjoyed it. the coffee was good and the pastries and donuts were excellent.
I wasn't impressed with their donuts, but the coffee tasted alright. Their donuts have that weird after taste that I cannot stand. Actually it tastes like a cheap premix was used to make them.I didn't like that I had stopped by a couple times before and they were already closed, despite it still being regular operating hours. I guess this is a hobby business for these people, as they open and close when they want to. Not very dependable, stable or convenient.
The restaurant offers a diverse selection of vegan dishes, but they are on the pricier side. I enjoyed every bite and would recommend trying everything on the menu! The staff is consistently friendly, which is a bonus. The only downside is that they tend to sell out quickly and close for the day, so it's best to arrive soon after opening or call ahead for takeout. Another challenge is finding parking, as the free spots fill up fast and you may need to drive around a few times or pay for a spot nearby.
I have never had a better vegan cinnamon roll than the one at this restaurant. And a vegan apple fritter? Unbelievably tasty.
I typically don't give non-completely vegan establishments five stars, but this place impressed me! The owners have been vegan for 22 years which is amazing! I tried two vegan donuts from the top row and they were both squishy and delicious. The owner even gave me some free donuts and a chocolate cake donut, which was a sweet gesture. I'm happy I stopped by!
