Meat District Co. - Pasadena

I was there for the first time with my friend and we really wanted to try. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak with potatoes. It was perfectly cooked medium as we asked. The server was very attentive and ensured that we received their full attention. It's a small place, but a must try. We'll go back for more.

Good quality meats cooked just right. We ordered the MDC platter and it really is plenty of meat for 6. Even with the MDC you will want to order some sides/salad to go with it. Beef ribs and pork ribs were very tender and the meat fell off the bone. Next time I go I'm going to try a burger because those looked good too.

Unique burger but the inability to swap out french fries was a huge bummer. Beer selection was weak.

The atmosphere at this place is great, and the food was outstanding. It's definitely one of my favorite spots here in California.

So I'm a big foodie and I don't usually leave reviews but I feel the need to express my absolute love for this joint. I firmly believe in second chances and let me tell you ALL, I am beyond happy that I gave Meat District Co. a second chance! Under new ownership a complete GEM in Old Town Pasadena! My first experience was subpar but the food was really good so I decided heck why not give it another shot. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, quality was so much better then the first time. Everything was so perfect and I could not get enough of the food! Not only was the food to die for but the service was way beyond expectations! I've never received this type of first-class service anywhere in the city! My overall experience was beyond words wonderful and I will be coming back not only again but often! This is my new go-to restaurant in Old Town and I have no doubt that the new ownership will keep up the amazing food taste, quality and customer service. Hats off to Meat District, a foodie's paradise!!! Go and get yours! Second chances baby, YEAH!!!
