I specifically visited to sample their pandan latte, as I absolutely love pandan and this was what initially caught my attention. Their version is quite delicious; pandan can sometimes have a chemical taste if not prepared correctly, but here, it strikes a great balance with the espresso. I also recently tried their matcha ube latte, but I think I prefer the regular matcha latte as the ube flavor tends to overpower the matcha. That said, both are tasty options, and if you enjoy ube, you'll likely love that drink. My fiancé often orders the yuzu espresso tonic, which seems like an unusual combination to me, but apparently it’s quite popular with orange juice, so why not yuzu?! The shop's interior is really cute and the service is quick. One of these days, I'd love to try their savory pastries or sandwiches. Unfortunately, we're never there when they're being served, and we're always too late for the pastries since we're not early risers, haha. They have a mini croissant that looks absolutely delicious, and I’m determined to make it there on time someday!
We tried the ube latte and the crème brûlée latte, and both were fantastic! There's plenty of street parking available.
I hesitated to try a new place for my Sunday coffee, but I decided to visit Dash after a friend's strong recommendations. I'm so glad I did! Their yuzu espresso tonic was incredibly refreshing, with a fizzy texture and a delightful citrus sweetness. For comparison, the Perfect in Purple cold brew was less sweet. The food impressed me as well; the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich was both delicious and satisfying. The egg was a fluffy soufflé style, about an inch thick, and the bread was rich, buttery brioche. The bacon was thicker and juicier, rather than the typical thin and crispy variety. The side of greens was a nice addition. It’s a wonderful place to relax and chat, with a nice amount of foot traffic. I also tried the iced matcha fizz, but I didn’t enjoy it as the flavors clashed.
I had the pandan latte along with an egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich. The latte was just the right level of sweetness—not too sweet at all. The sandwich was truly one of the best things I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this place!
