What User doesn't like about The Oven, Club Parramatta:
I have booked our table, but when we were there, no reservation was given for us. I talked to the manager, but I wasn't interested at all. I thought if they book their table over the app, should be assigned to her table for them, very disappointed. we ate at wokafella, eat much better. View all feedback.
Used to love going to Club Parramatta. I feel though lately it's gone downhill. There were tables with glasses and plates on them, when we arrived and still there when we left. There was not enough staff clearing away the tables. There were booked tables, that were clearly no shows, they should have had the reserved signs taken off for others to use, as there were people looking for somewhere to sit. Some of the upstairs bar tenders had no idea how to make cocktails, and the cocktails were filled with crushed ice, it was more like a slushie from 7/11. The duo playing, were okish, but they were dumped together from an agency, they didnt even know each other, I heard them introducing themselves, they had never played together before and it was obvious. For New years eve....it was extremely underwhelming.
Food is amazing and your choice between The Oven and Wokafella will leave your taste buds tingling. There is a full bar with many beers on tap and a cocktail bar upstairs.
The music was very loud and when we requested it be turned down, the duty manager was rude, aggressive and abusive. We left and went elsewhere for dinner.
Xmas day lunch, service was great, food exceptional
The table number I asked for was given to us. eating was excellent from the many and wokafelka. service was also very fast. great night overall.
