My girlfriend and I will be back.
We wanted to eat out and relax in an area we had bever been before, wondered up and down Church st and were not fussed on anywhere but settled for Liana's - oh what a welcome surprise
I had Mussaca risotto with 3 perfectly cooked lamb chops, my girl is not very adventurous but had Carbonara and loved it, this from a girl who normally eats garlic prawns and nothing else, she could no... View all feedback.
What Beth Reynolds doesn't like about Liana's:
Food was ****. Service was okay. Wait was so long! We waited close to 45 minutes for our food. They got our order wrong but we couldn't be bothered saying anything as we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes.
The sauce was like water?!
Price was super expensive for what it was.
Never going back here ever again and wouldn't recommend it.
No wonder they advertise it so much on 96.1 because I bet no one goes back! View all feedback.
I had the four cheese gnocchi. pretty, but with walnuts?. felt like walnuts was extremely strange for pasta. has not tasted well with nuts. I noticed that most of them had nuts for their menu. seaweed was also an interesting combination. I had rest for dessert, absolutely beautiful. but fee floss on top?. very strange. tiramisu tastes good on its own. I get that feeling they want to try something new to eat, but it seems as if they were confused and confused.
Eating was amazing! we had a different court and tried a lot of escape and everything was great! it was a good feed. very recommended for a good Italian feed.
New menu is great, tastes very fresh and homemade. great presentation and generous serve! would definitely recommend and come back. also the staff gave us incredible first-class service, friendly and helpful!
Was simply one of the best restaurants on the church street. in the run of time the service and food quality decreased slightly, but it is still very pleasant. the personal changed drastically so that the restaurant lose its core values and taste. the prices also increased while the portion sizes decreased.
Can always count on Liana's for a good Italian feed. Their pastas are generous portions and always enjoyable. This time my friend and I ordered the penne bosciaola and the vegetarian risotto which were both lovely. Pasta was creamy but light and not sickening, and the risotto had a nice tomato-rich sauce and even the vegetables had a lot flavour. Fair prices for the amount of food you get Nothing in particular to fault the food isn't anything special or amazing for an amazing rating but it is nice and worth a try Food: Presentation: Service: Location:
