What Paris Prosacco doesn't like about B L Burgers:
Was excited to try this outlet after visiting Bar Luca in the city.
Convenient location next to Bourke st bakery, interior and deco was trendy and very 'bright'. I ordered the BL chicken burger. Compared to the original in the city, the chicken fillets were significantly smaller, thinner and drier - still had a good crunch but I felt it was lacking the flavour and juiciness I had anticipated. Burgers and fries are amazing. Friendly staff and quick service too. I love the Mr Truffle burger with added fries. But slightly over priced for burger and fries but it is certainly more tasty then a Maccas and KFC burger! Will recommend and come back.
The legendary Blame Canada<br/ <br/ If you know burgers you know the BC. The perfect blend of saltiness, sweet, soft, and crunchy.<br/ <br/ I went overboard and added fried chicken and some sriracha BBQ aioli. Everything was terrific even after traveling for 20 minutes. All the proteins were done to perfection, the maple bacon jam is so good and the poutine is so moreish.
The service as an industry standard in Australia is great. I had the bl chicken burger. It was a great portion of a burger but the only thing that went against it was the chilli jam. Get that off and this is one of the better burgers you'll have around. Cheers.
I went to BL many years ago and mistakenly ordered fish and chips. I came back to redeem myself, deciding to opt for the Flame Canada in order to get a taste of the OG Blame Canada whilst wanting a good kick. The burger was all I could have hoped for, extremely saucy and meaty, whilst having the right amount of spiciness from the habanero sauce and jalapenos. The milk buns soaked all the juices and also were infused with chilli flakes, making the experience a battle from start to end. I also ordered the weekly loaded fries, which was liberally topped with chimichurri, onions, chorizo etc., a fun meal to share with the mates. The casual joint itself was small, but well lit and accommodating, a good spot to go to before heading to the movies. Personally, the prices weren't excessive and are pretty fair for the quality. I look forward to revisiting soon to get a taste of the other entries within the menu.
Really nice place with really good food. We had a burger and the loaded fries which was bacon, peri peri mayo and shredded cheese on top. Their loaded fries changes over time. Personally I felt that there wasn’t much places to sit. I did go during lunchtime so that’s understandable since the place is small
