Reviews - Zero Zest

#28 - Fast Food - Parma, Ice Cream Shop, Ice Cream

Reviews summary

A beloved, old‑school Parma ice cream shop serving generous, affordable soft‑serve, thick shakes and creative treats (including almond‑milk vegan options). Friendly, fast service and nostalgic charm make it a family- and dog-friendly favorite; ample parking and late seasonal hours add convenience. Seating is limited and the menu is playfully informal, but the quality and variety keep locals coming back.

We had a great time visiting this place during the summer months. The prices are fantastic, and the ice cream is delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for some tasty treats to cool off!

So much variety. Highly recommend the hot fudge sundae with added peanut butter drizzle. High quality and fair pricing

This is a nice little ice cream shop. The prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of options to keep your order affordable. They offer various sizes and choices between soft serve and hard ice cream. While the flavor selection isn’t huge for every dessert, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. They serve cones, blizzards, and other treats – they really have it all. The service is typical of high school students, but the line is usually short and moves quickly. Their hours are quite good, and they stay open late into the fall. There's plenty of parking available, and the lot is well-maintained, making it easy to get in and out with exits onto two streets. There are only a couple of tables outside, but they provide shade and are generally kept clean.

Our favorite ice cream shop! Our daughter really enjoys the swirl flavors, especially the blue goo green apple!

My girlfriend loves this place, I don't care for soft serve, but Zero Zest is REALLY good. Everyone is friendly. The menu isn't organized, but that's part of the charm, they have a great selection.

My daughter, my mother, and I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the almond ice cream is truly the best I've ever had. We make it a point to visit at least twice a week!

I visited for the first time and will definitely return because they offer almond milk soft serve. It was absolutely delicious! Next time, I plan to try it with chocolate dip.

I went here as a kid and always loved it. Still in business 45 years later!! Was and still is a great place for a cold treat or a yummy chili dog with the works!!
