We were seated promptly, but that's... read more I'm honestly baffled by the 4.7 rating. My wife and I visited Mizu Sushi, and the experience was far from what we expected. We were seated promptly, but that's where the service ended. For over 20 minutes, no one came to our table. We live in NYC, where good service is the norm, and frankly, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Maybe folks in OH are more tolerant of this, but we certainly are not. We ended up leaving without ordering, and I don't see us returning anytime soon. Very disappointing.

No one should have to stare at their food at the sushi bar for over 20 minutes knowing it's our orders. We were sat down on our table at 8:40 and didn't leave until 10:55..... Not Bec we were sitting there lollygagging. It took almost an hour to receive our food and 45 minutes to get our check.

It looks like a hole in the wall but man this really is the best sushi in the area. Always fresh, big rolls! I tried sushi 2-3 times and never liked it but, after being taken here on a date one time, I discovered that I was just having the wrong sushi cause I’m HOOKED on Mizu! We take all our friends here and forever choose this as our go to for sushi! Also the fried rice, Rangoon’s, Kani salad, and katsu are AMAZING. I haven’t tried one thing here that wasn’t delicious! Only weird thing is that there’s an older woman there sometimes who makes me a little uncomfortable. Like one time she was having a meltdown and yelling at the chefs- I think she thought we didn’t notice cause she wasn’t speaking English but it was….pretty obvious. Honestly though it made for some good entertainment lol.

The roll of the month (fairy, left in image) was savory and creamy wi... read more Oh how the pictures fail how beautiful this meal was! Inside and out, this was SATISFYING. The roll of the month (fairy, left in image) was savory and creamy with lobster. The Christmas (right in image) was light and FRESH. and those jalapeño puffs were a delightful crunch that provided all the jalapeño flavor with just enough of the kick to balance out gracefully with whatever was in those love boats. Great service too, 10/10
