Looks like you typical dive bar from the outside but the food is TO DIE FOR! worth the extra drive to pass up Lobo's! This is our new spot when we go to Itasca State Park!
Our first visit to Spike's was 2018 and I am delighted that it has only been better since then. The burgers are generous and tasty - whether you want a burger or something more exotic - and all baskets of appetizers/sides are great (we are part of the onion rings and fried cauliflowers). The beer selection is diverse, so there is something for everyone. We had big groups and little ones, and they're always friendly. Spike's has become a must for our family when we are in the north.
Absolutely delicious!!! These are the best burgers I've ever had, and I usually dislike burgers. I highly recommend the "Oh Mommy!" burger. I'm definitely going back. The staff is amazing too!
Nice place. Great atmosphere and good food. I had a burger one day and pizza the next... Loved um!
