What JenniferB likes about Shabu:
We loved Shabu! It was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Although it was a little loud for me, the food, service, and atmosphere was so good that it was exceptional! We can't wait to go back. View all feedback. What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Shabu:
The sashimi was average, with very small portions, which is why I gave 3 stars. Given the expense, this surprised me. I had to order extra food or I would have been hungry. Maybe that’s their strategy. The service and outdoor table was great but I won’t be back. View all feedback.

Really 4 plus Cons first: not related to foodNot the cleanest downstairs in the main restaurant, unpleasant odor and dated.
I don't know why people don't like shabu I think the place is festive and they have a nice menu of hot food and sushi.
Who would have thought that you can find really good Asian (fusion) in a place like Park City?! I've been to Park City twice and both times, I dined at
It's a bit of a strange little cellar that smells lightly from fish but try the noodles with tofu delish!
Excellent eating, ambiente, service. always a 5-star experience for us when visiting park city!
Despite some mixed reviews, Shabu in Park City has been a staple for loyal customers for over 15 years. However, recent experiences have left some patrons disappointed. Some guests were put off by the rude and unwelcoming behavior of the staff, particularly towards children. Others found the food to be overpriced and underwhelming. Complaints about rushed service and lack of flavor in certain dishes were also noted. On the other hand, many diners raved about the delicious food and exceptional service, with special mention of the American and Japanese wagyu hot rock and fantastic sushi. Despite the noise level and occasional hiccups, diners seem willing to give Shabu another chance due to the overall positive experience.

Zach and Jameson at the bar are the best, thanks for the great food and service!
So overrated. Not worth it, and the service is not good.

The restaurant is located in a quirky basement that has a mild smell of fish, but don't let that deter you from trying the delicious ramen noodles with tofu.
It's a bit of a strange little cellar that smells easy from fish BUT try the smoked noodles with tofu Delish!
