We placed a large order on the mobile app without any issues and arrived at the store early to wait. While inside, I overheard the cashier telling another customer that the fryer was malfunctioning, meaning they couldn't prepare over half of our order. We asked to cancel our order, but she informed us that we would need to do it ourselves, as long as it hadn't been filled yet. Unfortunately, by the time my husband returned to the car to update me, they had already processed our order as completed, making cancellation impossible. We called the provided number for cancellations, but after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, the representative told us he couldn't assist because it appeared we had already received our food. When we tried to explain that we hadn’t, he kept interrupting us. The call ended with a promise that someone would reach out to us via phone or email for assistance. However, we never received any communication. We ended up losing $50 and will definitely not be returning.
Every time I order from this restaurant, I'm consistently missing items from my order. There are never any utensils or napkins included in the bag. I added an extra biscuit to my order, and it was never delivered. The food was also served at a subpar temperature. The delivery driver called me to let me know they were out of lemonade, so I opted for a Dr. Pepper instead, but instead, I received a Coke.
The food was good. I ordered a 2-piece meal along with two 4-piece chicken strip meals, but they forgot one chicken strip from each meal. They also overlooked the silverware, the sauce, and my fries. Despite these issues, we still love KFC's food. I really wish they would reopen our buffet!
