Southside Cafe - Paris

My group had intended to dine at the fairgrounds during the Paris Fish Fry, but we arrived a day early. We sought recommendations from locals on where to find the best food in Paris. They were spot on! Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent.

My 16-year-old granddaughter's favorite breakfast is flavored pancakes, she loves the strawberry banana. My 18-year-old grandson and his girlfriend love the chocolate chip pancakes. My personal favorite is the sausage, biscuits, and fries.

I may be biased because my mother works here, but I have never been disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The dishes are delicious, the servers are friendly and always attentive. It's a small, local diner where you can always find regular customers with interesting stories to share. If you happen to be dining alone, you can usually join others at a table so you never feel lonely. And the best part is that it's very affordable!
