Sorry but nothing special..I took Pita on Menu (Sunday/Afternoon). It was quite small with the small bread and with dip that didn't have a lot of taste. What's quite strange is that it's quite noisy there..It was not bad but it's not the place where I will come back. View all feedback.
On the canal saint Martin, its huge illuminated sign is visible for very far away. This place is hard to miss. The idea is basic Lebanese/Israeli food - hummus, moutabal, tabbouleh, falafels and kefte. It's not badly done but it's not special. The food took a very long time to serve despite it apparently being already prepared. Also, the prices were too high for what it was (effet Canal at work...). I have no real plans to return, there are enough Lebanese canteens serving the same thing better and for less (but not on the canal).

Sorry guys, but really? Everything is served in take away boxes, down to the water cups and cutlery. What a waste. For the price of a very good, fresh and tasty falafel in the Marais, you are served two teeny weeny pittas with falafel inside. Disgrace. The stools are uncomfortable, the place is cold and clinical. Not at all welcoming. Everything is overpriced. And whatever the previous critic says, Canal St Martin is NOT anywhere near being able to justify selling food at this price. You need more luxe, comfort, choice, service to be able to justify yourselves. It made me angry to see a great ad in A Nous paris bigging up this place when really its a big load of nothing. I prefer a real mezze plate in my local 19th district for 10 euros with taste, less ego and great service. I imagine it wont be round for long. Its taking up valuable space for someone who can do something more honest with the space.
Needing something fulfilling yet tasty and reasonably priced near la republique we tried here.
Delicious, fresh, high-quality, well-seasoned Lebanese foodThey have a very large menu, appropriate for vegetarians too.
