LE MILENO - Paris 10e Arrondissement

Stopped in here for an evening meal after going to the Chinese supermarket nearby and was pleasantly surprised. This particular area of Paris is not the most glamorous so to find a nice restaurant is always a plus. Drinks are well priced with the 66cl Tsingtao for less than 5 Euros. There's a large menu with a lot of options, many large plates which are ideal for sharing. We had the rice sauted with shrimp which was great, beef with black mushrooms also good, the Riz Loc Lac and the Calamari with fried Ginger. The calamari tasted great but was maybe a little oily, combined with fried rice as sides it's quite heavy sitting.The Riz Loc Lac was a lot larger than we expected, they have an 8 Euro version and 15 Euro version, we has to check when it was put on the table if it was the 8 Euro one due it's size! I can't imagine the size of the larger version. They were happy to oblige to pack it up for us to take away after when we couldn't manage everything so we will enjoy the food from this restaurant again at home.Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and if in the area and looking for some food i'd highly recommend this restaurant as the place to go.

Got there by mistake really as we wanted to dine close by but found ourselves in front of a closed door. Anyway, classic menu really but all of it really tasty; we had a steamed Fish with ginger, two different kind of spare ribs, rice and more. All off it delicious

La façade n'étant pas particulièrement avenante, nous sommes entrés ici un peu par hasard. Et quelle bonne surprise! L'hôtesse est charmante et l'on y trouve une cuisine chinoise authentique, comme préparée à la maison avec des produits frais, et très goûteuse. A garder dans son carnet d'adresse!
