It has now moved to a location behind the Invalides in a wonderfu... read more We last visited Thiou when it was located on the Quai d'Orsay with a lovely view of the Seine. It has now moved to a location behind the Invalides in a wonderful neighborhood with a beautiful view of the illuminated dome at night. We had a fantastic meal there with friends. For starters we had an amazing soft shell crab appetizer--the first time we have ever encountered soft shell crabs in Paris. The crabs were cut into bite sized pieces and expertly sautéed with a wonderful blend of spices--delicious! We also tried the raviolis de crevettes in coconut cream sauce and a monkfish (lotte) main course--both excellent. On a hot summer night with a bottle of rose it made for a perfect dinner. We will be back!
